ECONOMIC ACTIVITIES
Catbalogan is the center of
commercial activities for the entire Province of Samar, as well as for some town
of Northern & Eastern Samar, being the only port where boats from Manila & Cebu
make regular calls, majority of passenger, and the bulk of goods and from these
two metropolitan center have to pass through Catbalogan.
